Just 15 miles from the historic city of León, the village of Las Peñitas has the most beautiful miles-long beach on Nicaragua's Pacific coast.

And in the heart of this fishing village, our funky little hotel is about 6 meters from the edge of an idyllic tidal bay and only 80 meters from the beach.

We have 4 large, open-concept rooms, each with private bath.

Food? Hearty breakfasts, fresh-from-the-ocean fish, indo-african style curry dishes, and more. Enjoy your meal while you look out over the bay and Isla Juan Venado.

Kitesurfing? For the brave-hearted we offer kitesurfing (lessons and rentals) on the bay. We are the only location in Nicaragua where you can learn and practise this exciting extreme sport.

And, when you have had enough sun and beach, relax with a drink in our guests-only pool.

Getting Here

By Taxi from León

A 15-20 minute ride for approximately $10.00 US ( 220 Córdobas ) from almost any location in León.

By Bus from León

Leaving from el mercadito in Subtiava (western side of León). Departures every 45-60 minutes from 4:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Approximately 45 minutes to just about the last stop in Las Peñitas. (Do not get off during the 10 minute rest stop in Poneloya)

By Car

Drive west from León on the Poneloya road. Turn left at the Las Peñitas junction and follow the road to the bottom by the bay. We provide secure parking for your vehicle.
